devCentral Community Network
Hi everybody!
(Hi Dr. Nick!)
I am so excited to be writing my first blog for the devCentral Community Network! This is a culmination of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (well, maybe not blood) by several dedicated devCentral team members. We’ve redesigned the Community to be a fun and useful environment for mobile developers to communicate with each other and experts in the industry. On here you’ll find blogs from leading industry experts, interactive forums to post and answer questions about mobile development, personal profiles with neato customization possibilities, access to features like Tech Chats and Webcasts, and up-to-the-minute announcements on everything from emerging technologies to exciting events.
As the Senior Marketing Manager for the Enterprise flavor of devCentral, I’ll be writing mostly about events and co-marketing opportunities.
The first said event is our participation at CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment this week at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. devCentral will be well represented in the AT&T booth, as usual. Plus, the Enterprise team is hosting a Fast-Pitch Open Call for enterprise mobile applications and devices. Here are the details:
Moscone Convention Center (San Francisco)
September 10-11th, 2008
10 AM – 2 PM
Meeting Room 5001 (MR-5001)
You only get 10 minutes to pitch and demo your application, so keep it succinct and focused! Applicants will be seen on a first-come first-serve basis outside the meeting room.
Benefits of certification include all the standard devCentral benefits plus inclusion in the online and print Certified Solutions Catalogs, exposure to AT&T customers, exposure to AT&T sales field, and more.
If you can’t join us in person, consider Virtual Fast-Pitch for Enterprise Applications. Just fill out the survey here and an AT&T representative will contact you directly.
Thanks for joining me for this first installment. Catch ya next time!
